On the Kony 2012 Bandwagon?

So this past week has been a "Are you Anti-Kony or Pro- Kony", and all though i'm already on way to purchasing the action kit I do have my disbeliefs in this cause. I watched the video yesterday In my creative writing class after declining numerous invites to this "Kony" event I thought was spam. Through out the video I cried knowing that there are numerous people going to be hoping for something good to come out of this. As I let this idea sit in my head for a day I realized the next day theres going to be alot of skeptisism and anti kony hate mail. Last night I was reading up on this event and only 32% of your donations actually go to the children according to"Visible Children(a Tumblr Feed) , many people were instantly calling this whole thing a hoax. Well NO! There not going to give away all there money after all it does cost money to make these videos for other peoples education. NO! I'm not saying donate alot of money after all were just raising AWARENESS not money. For the people who think this is a scam well maybe you don't need to donate to help out all were asking for is help us color the city in kony or make him famous so that higher political figures will notice this and try and make a change. I may not be the smartest History student but I do know that Uganda has had alot of problems like this before, also I do think that as soon as we capture Kony another one will step in but you know what? That moment were everyone gets together and aspires to make change makes us human, lets people know we do care and stand for something other then just living in our perfect bubble. There are alot of things happening everywhere in the world, but we need to start somewhere right? I personally don't think all of this will actually capture him as it will take alot more but it does help. it helps show that we care and we are worried. So the question here is am I Anti-Kony or Pro-Kony? Well I believe in change and as work strikes to try and change something this is a peace strike and I will join to help make peace so YES! I am on the Kony bandwagon, and I will defend something good and right until we are completly told off by the actual people its harming.
